Noida International University (NIU) Greater Noida was given the status of University by Government of Uttar Pradesh. Motto of NIU is 'to shape pre-eminent leaders for the 21st century through a research driven education system' and to achieve that NIU would inculcate values which will motivate students while guiding them in the right direction. Establishment Year-2010 Promoter- Maruti Educational Trust Approval-University Grants Commission (UGC) Schools-School of Engineering and Technology, School of Business Management, School of Mass Communication, School of Law, School of Nursing, School of Sciences, School of Architecture, School of Fine Arts, School of Liberal Arts, School of Defence Security & Intelligence, Extracurricular activities-Sports, Seminars, Workshops, Debates, Personality development programmes, Industrial Tours Festivals-Zest-It was first annual cultural festival organized by NIU. Approximately 2000 student fraternity from both NIU and various colleges of NCR took part in the grand celebrations. Fest of India-It is an annual cultural festival organized by NIU. CSE ECE IT EEE Mechanical Arts Physics Fashion departments were participated.
