Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Aurangabad was established in 1958. The university was inaugurated by Late Shri. Jawaharlal Nehru prime minister of India with an objective to disseminates create and preserve knowledge and understand by teaching research extension and service and by effective demonstration and influence of its corporate extension and society. .It is one of the oldest premier universities established by Maharashtra STATE government after Mumbai and Pune Universities Motto of the University is "Knowledge is sacred and is the source of enlightenment". Vision of the University is "To make dedicated efforts to forge a holistic educational growth by introducing innovative teaching and learning models".
