Shri Dhaneshwari Manav Vikas Mandal, Kallam, Tq. Kallam Dist. Osmanabad (Maharashtra) was established under the Societies Registration Act (1860 Sub Act 21 of 1860) and Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 on 20.6.1995 and 31.12.1995, respectively. Dr. V K. Patil is presently working as President of Shri Dhaneshwari Manav Vikas Mandal. The group, which floated Shri Dhaneshwari Manav Vikas Mandal, is highly cohesive and committed. The society has a mandate to bring about total transformation of the society through overall development especially through human resource development. The society has given all emphasis towards upliftment of S.T. and S.C. people. Till now it has made an outstanding contribution in the field of environment protection, afforestation , social forestry , social orcharding , watershed management ,adult education, Literacy, health, hygiene, Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy, Rural Development and Education. The society has been able to succeed in motivating people to undertake different development programs in Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh. The Mandal has been made eligible for FCR assistance in 2002. Vide letter No. IV 23022/68(60)/2002- FCRA-III, dated 20.6.2002 from Govt. of India.
