"Gulab public Sr. Sec. School was founded by the beacon of light, eminent educationist and visionary Mr.Bharat Singh Chauhan in the memory of his father late Shri Gulab Singh Chauhan with a sole mission to impart quality education standardised to meet changing challenges in our fast changing lives. His focus has been to give back to the society what he received from it. His sacred thoughts of ‘ इदम् न मम् ‘ echo through his efforts that having spent 55 years in teaching in Delhi & Amritsar. He still embraces the Gandhian ideal that India lives in villages. He personally monitors the functioning of the school braving heat, rain and biting cold at the age of 78 years. The school is situated on the Delhi Mathura highway, spreading over an area of 3.5 acres with beautifully landscaped green spaces, lawns, majestic trees and flowerbeds inducing a feeling of tranquillity. The newly renovated building compliments the sprawling lush green playground. It boasts of class rooms, laboratories, library, medical room, smart room arenas for different sports. The safety and security of the students is of paramount importance. Hence, the whole school premises is under 24 hours CCTV surveillance. Store room etc. have been provided with an emergency evacuation plan. GPS has been working with a special vision to sensitize the students and the society. To fulfil the mission of serving the society, it acts on its motto, Tamaso Maa Jyotirgamay."
