The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Allahabad was established in 1999 by GoI MHRD as a centre of excellence in Information Technology & related areas. IIIT-A has acquired an international academic acclaim and recognition. IIIT-Allahabad ushering into its Teens in the year 2012 has been steadily raising its academic graph higher and higher since its inception in 1999 and has been taking the academia by surprise by uniquely fulfilling its mission it was conceived with.
