Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management, popularly known as GITAM was founded in 1980 by an inspired group of eminent intellectuals and industrialists of Andhra Pradesh led by Dr.M.V.V.S.Murthi, former member of Parliament and popular Philanthropist. GITAM University is spread across three states. We have lovely campuses with state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure in Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam. We are proud that each campus is beautiful in its own way. Here in Visakhapatnam our picturesque campus is located in Rushikonda, literally the hill of the sages. Facing the sea in front and surrounded by hills on the sides, the serene setting is the place where technocrats are trained, managers are made and scientists are shaped.
