Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (S-VYASA) was established in 1986. It is a University which is dedicated to the teaching of yoga along with other studies S-VYASA is the first ISO 2001:2008 Certified Yoga University The university campus Prashanti Kutiram is sprawling over an area of 100 acres S-VYASA is located at Giddenahalli Jigani Hobli Anekal Bangalore in the STATE of Karnataka. which is 30 Km from centre of Bangalore and 14 Km from Bannerughatta National Park It has been recognized by the UGC. The university also offers courses in distance mode It awarded as a Deemed University under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 in 2002 The university has 114 Ph.D. 51 M.Sc. with 410 students in various branches S-VYASA facilitates Advanced Yoga techniques such as CM (Cyclic Meditation) PET (Pranic Energisation Technique) MSRT (Mind Sound Resonance Technique) MEMT (Mastering the Emotions Technique) MIRT (Mind Imagery Technique) VISAK (Vijnana Sadhana Kausala) and ANAMS (Anandamrita Sincana) The university has signed MoUs with about 20 leading Universities and Research Centers all over the world for conducting collaborations research in Yoga
