Sri Siddhartha University is a Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956. Earlier it was known as Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education. The university offers Bachelor Master and Research Programmes in Medical and Engineering field. It has 3 affiliated colleges including Sri Siddhartha Medical College Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology and Sri Siddhartha Dental College. The university is associated with 1350 bedded hospital with 12 major operation theaters in addition to minor operation theaters The university is sponsored by Sri Siddhartha Education Society For admission in courses of university candidates need to qualify All India Entrance Test.
