NITTE University Mangalore was established in 2008. NITTE was recognized as Deemed-to-be University in June 2008 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (Department of Higher Education). In 2009 The University is recognized by UGC. It has achieved accreditation of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and has got ?A? category by MHRD Government of India. It is a fruit of commitment and dream of seven people who were always concern about higher study and community development. Under the guidance and leadership of well-known justice K.S Hegde NITTE Education Trust was born. The NITTE Trust came into existence on 30 august 1979. After almost three decades the trust has been recognized as one of the finest institution which attracts students foreigners faculties and guardians. The main ideas of the trust were offering best education train manpower and health care.The University is located at Mangalore and 350 km from Bangalore and 800 km from Mumbai.
