D.Y. Patil Education Society popularly known as D.Y. Patil University is a self-financed deemed University. The society started its Medical College in 1989. It is a reputed medical university of Maharashtra. The University got its name after the great and brilliant educationist Padmashree Dr. D.Y. Patil. It is providing with some of the finest and fantastic facilities by availing which a student can be able to become a great doctor in the near future. There are 14 collaborative faculty members and 20 full time research scholars working under difference projects sanctioned by DST DRDO CSIR New Delhi and BRNS Mumbai.
