Kalasalingam University is the No.1 Deemed University in south Tamil Nadu. It was established in the year 1984 by the Kalasalingam Anandam Ammal Charities. The aim of the university is to be a world class university and focus research to produce technical and management graduates who would be global players. Started as Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Engineering in 1984 by Kalasalingam and Anandam Ammal Charities Govt. of Tamil Nadu granted permanent approval and Madurai Kamaraj University has given permanent affiliation.
