THE NORTHCAP UNIVERSITY (NCU) formerly known as INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT (ITM UNIVERSITY) GURGAON was established in the year 1996 as an institute. It was established to provide the education in Technical and Management field by Educate India Society. In the academic year 2009-10 the institute gained the status of Private University and was renamed as ITM University. In August 2015 the ITM University has been renamed as The NORTHCAP UNIVERSITY (NCU). There are various factors for changing the name. Some institutes and universities are already using the same name so the management so that students get confused. NCU is an ISO 9001:2000 CERTIFIED university. The mission of the NCU is to focus on quality of learning and innovation in all programs.
