What is GITAM GAT?
GITAM GAT is an online entrance test for admission to Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in Architecture, Science, Engineering, Humanities, Law, Management, Nursing, Paramedical, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy at GITAM Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Bengaluru campuses. Gandhi School of Technology and GITAM School of Business, popularly known as GITAM, was founded in 1980 by an inspired group of eminent intellectuals and industrialists of Andhra Pradesh led by Dr. M. V. V. S. Murthi, former Member of Parliament and popular philanthropist.

GITAM GAT 2023 Eligibility
The following are the eligibility criteria for admission to BTech Programs through GAT:
Eligibility criteria for GITAM GAT 2023: Pass in Intermediate or 12th examination from a recognized Central / State Board or its equivalent either in 2023 or 2019 and also Rank obtained in GITAM GAT 2023, subject to the following criteria:
- BTech Programs: Aspirants need to have a minimum of 60% or 6.0 CGPA (55% in case of CBSE and ICSE) aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry in the qualifying examination.
- BTech in Biotechnology: Aspirants need to have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Mathematics/ Biology, Physics & Chemistry, and First Class or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.
GITAM GAT counselling 2023 will be conducted by GITAM University. The counselling of GITAM GAT will be held in online mode only. The counselling is being held on 7 campuses across the state in online mode. The counselling call letter is released in online mode. Shortlisted candidates have to appear in the counselling rounds along with the documents for verification. The GITAM GAT 2023 counselling details will be available after candidates login.
