The MCAER PG CET exam is scheduled to be conducted in a paper-pencil-based mode from May 31 to June 2, 2024. To appear in the exam, applicants must download the admit card within time. 

What is the MCAER CET?

MCAER PG CET is conducted by the Maharashtra Agriculture Universities Examination Board (MAUEB) to shortlist aspirants for admission in PG-level courses including Master of Science (Msc), Master of Engineering and Technology (Mtech) and Master of Fisheries Science (MFsc) offered at State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) in Maharashtra. A state-level entrance exam, the Maharashtra Council of Agriculture Education and Research Common Entrance Test (MCAER CET) is conducted in a paper-pencil-based mode. Approximately 10,000 candidates appear for the exam every year.

Candidates have to fill out their MCAER CET 2024 application form online on the official website of the exam. To duly fill out the application form for the MCAER PG CET exam, candidates had to upload their photograph as well as pay their application fee online by using Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card. After the successful submission of the MCAER PG CET 2024 application form, candidates had to take a printout of the application confirmation or acknowledgment page.

MCAER PG CET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

To take the MCAER PG CET exam, candidates should fulfill the eligibility criteria:

·        Candidates should have completed their graduation degree of at least three years duration in the relevant subject to be eligible for MCAER CET 2024.

·        They should have secured at least 55 per cent marks or a 5.5 CGPA score on a scale of 10 in their bachelor's degree if belonging to the open category.

·        In case of reserved categories including, Schedule Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Vimukta Jati (A) (VJ-a), Nomadic Tribes (B) NT-b), Nomadic Tribes (C) (NT-c), Nomadic Tribes (D) (NT-d), Other backward class (OBC), Special Backward Category (SBC), socially and educationally backward class (SEBC), Economically weaker section(EWS) and Physically Handicapped (PH), the candidates should have secured at least 50 per cent marks or 5.0 CGPA score on a scale of 10 in aggregate of all subjects. 

·        Candidates in the final year of their graduation degree are also eligible to apply for MCAER PG CET 2022.

MUAEB will prepare the final merit list of MCAER CET 2024 based on 70 per cent marks secured by a candidate in the MCAER CET exam and, the remaining 30 per cent marks from CGPA score in the qualifying degree examination.

MCAER PG CET 2024 Admit Card

Candidates could download the MCAER PG CET 2024 admit card from the official website from May 20, 2024, of the Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research by filling in details such as Username and Password.

The admit card of MCAER PG CET is a mandatory document to be carried at the exam centre along with the photo identity card, without which candidates will not be allowed entry to the exam centre. The MCAER PG CET hall ticket 2024 will carry information on the exam paper, schedule, venue, and guidelines. The admit card also carries candidates' details such as name, Roll Number, photo, signature, and contact details.
