AP ICET 2024 hall ticket has been released on May 02, 2024 at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. AP ICET 2024 application form was available online at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. Earlier, the exam date was announced. Candidates seeking admission to MBA/MCA programme of colleges in Andhra Pradesh must fill the online application form when available. AP ICET notification mentions detailed information about important exam dates, eligibility criteria, application process, syllabus, exam pattern, normalisation process and so forth. AP ICET 2024 exam will be held on May 06 and May 07, 2024. The exam will be held in offline mode. Candidates will be required to report at the allotted AP ICET exam centre on the day of examination
What is AP ICET?
Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET) is a state-level MBA and MCA entrance examination conducted for admission to colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. AP ICET is conducted by Shri Krishnadevaraya University, Ananthapuramu on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education. AP ICET is conducted over a window of two days and two slots. According to APSCHE, as many as 65,000 (approx.) candidates appear for the exam. Around 40,000 (approx.) candidates qualify for the exam. The computer-based test (CBT) is conducted in 43 cities across Andhra Pradesh. The scores of AP ICET is accepted by over 290 colleges across Andhra Pradesh
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admission in MBA courses through AP ICET 2024 should fulfill the following criteria:
- Candidate should be an Indian National and should conform to the local/non-local status requirement as per government rule
- Candidates should have passed a three-year bachelor’s degree course in any stream with a minimum 50 percent aggregate (SC, ST and BC with 45 percent aggregate) from a recognised university
- Candidates in their final year of 3-year Bachelor's degree and awaiting results are also eligible to apply for AP ICET 2024 exam

AP ICET Counselling Certificates List 2023
AP ICET 2023 verification of documents commences after the registration process. Candidates must upload the following documents for the verification process. Check the AP ICET counselling certificates list below:

AP ICET Counselling 2023 Detailed Notification
1. AP ICET Web Counselling: Instructions Regarding Payment of Processing Fees
- First step is to pay the AP ICET counselling fee of INR 1200 (for OC/BC) and INR 600 (for SC/ST/PH)
- To pay the AP ICET counselling fee, candidates must enter the login credentials:
- Hall Ticket Number
- Rank
- Select the mode of payment from any of the following:
- Credit card
- Debit card
- Net banking
- After paying the processing fee candidates must ensure to take the print of the receipt for future reference.
2. AP ICET Web Counselling: Instructions Regarding Online Certificate Verification
- Verification of Certificates of all candidates except candidates of Special Category will be done online.
3. Web Options Selection
- After completing the certificate verification step, candidates will have to visit the web-option selection page to exercise web option entry
- Candidates will be able to select the following:
- District
- College type to display the colleges
- Candidates will be able to see all the selected colleges on the right side of the list and the total count. Candidates must click on the tab 'save the web options'

SYLLABUS CONTENT OF THE TEST: Section-A: Analytical Ability:
1. Data Sufficiency: A question is given followed by data in the form of two statements labeled as (i) and (ii). If the data given in (i) alone is sufficient to answer the question then choice (1) is the correct answer. If the data given in (ii) alone is sufficient to answer the question then choice (2) is the correct answer. If both (i) and (ii) put together are sufficient to answer the question but neither statement alone is sufficient, then choice (3) is the correct answer. If both (i) and (ii) put together are not sufficient to answer the question and additional data is needed, then choice (4) is the correct answer.
2. Problem Solving
a) Sequences and Series: Analogies of numbers and alphabet, completion of blank spaces following the pattern in a:b::c:d relationship; odd thing out: missing number in a sequence or a series.
b) Data Analysis: The data given in a Table, Graph, Bar diagram, Pie Chart, Venn Diagram or a Passage is to be analyzed and the questions pertaining to the data are to be answered.
c) Coding and Decoding Problems: A code pattern of English Alphabet is given. A given word or a group of letters are to be coded or decoded based on the given code or codes.
d) Date, Time & Arrangement Problems: Calendar problems, clock problems, blood relationships, arrivals, departures and schedules, seating arrangements, symbol and notation interpretation.
Section-B: Communication Ability:
Objectives of the Test: Candidates will be assessed on the ability to:
1. Identify vocabulary used in the day-to-day communication (Vocabulary).
2. Understand the functional use of grammar in day-to-day communication as well as in the business contexts (Functional Grammar).
3. Identify the basic terminology and concepts in computer and business contexts (letters, reports, memoranda, agenda, minutes etc. (Business and Computer terminology).
4. Understand written text and drawing inferences (Reading Comprehension (4 Passages)).
Section -C: Mathematical Ability
- Arithmetical Ability: Laws of indices, ratio and proportion; surds; numbers and divisibility, l.c.m. and g.c.d; Rational numbers, Ordering; Percentages; Profit and loss; Partnership, Pipes and cisterns, time, distance and work problems, areas and volumes, mensuration, modular arithmetic.
- Algebraical and Geometrical Ability: Statements, Truth tables, implication converse and inverse, Tautologies-Sets, Relations and functions, applications - Equation of a line in different forms. Trigonometry - Trigonometric ratios, Trigonometric ratios of standard angles, (0°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 90°, 180°): Trigonometric identities: sample problems on heights and distances, Polynomials; Remainder theorem and consequences; Linear equations and expressions; Progressions, Binomial Theorem, Matrices, Notion of a limit and derivative; Plane geometry - lines, Triangles, Quadrilaterals, Circles, Coordinate geometry-distance between points

AP ICET 2024 Section-Wise Preparation Strategy
Section 1: Tips to prepare for Analytical Ability
The questions of this section will test candidates' ability to collect and analyse information, problem-solving ability and decision-making ability. Among all the topics included under Analytical Ability, questions from the Data Sufficiency section may appear slightly tricky. All questions of the Data Sufficiency section will consist of two statements that will be labelled as (i) and (ii).
After analysing the statement problem, student need to select the right option from the two given option. In a certain type of question, candidates may find both option (i) and (ii) to be correct for a certain question. In this case, candidates must select option (iii).
Avoid ticking answer at one go. Read each question more than once and then find out which answer option best answers the question. Remember, all the answer options will be similar in nature and there is a possibility that you may at first find all the statements to be true. However, you will have to select the most appropriate option.
Section 2: Tips to Prepare for Mathematical Ability
The mathematical Ability section of the APICET exam will test candidates' ability to effectively process numerical data and conclude a mathematical calculation based on that data. The Algebra and Geometry section questions are asked based on statements, truth tables, implication converse and inverse, relations, etc.
A useful tip to successfully answer questions in this section is to devote much time to clearing concepts, practising past question papers, learning different formulas and applying them simultaneously to solve problems.
Section 3: Tips to Prepare for Communication Ability
This section contains questions that tests candidates ability to receive various kinds of information, communicate new ideas precisely and convey the gist of any project effectively. Here, candidates will have to identify the vocabulary used in everyday communication, understand functional use of grammar in business communication and identify basic terminology and concepts in computer and business contexts along with understanding the written text and drawing inferences.
