AP ICET Counselling Certificates List 2023

AP ICET 2023 verification of documents commences after the registration process. Candidates must upload the following documents for the verification process. Check the AP ICET counselling certificates list below:

• Local status certificate if applicable i.e., a candidate who migrates to any part of the state of Andhra Pradesh from the state of Telangana within a period of Seven years from the 2nd day of June, 2014 shall be regarded as the local candidate in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

AP ICET Counselling 2023 Detailed Notification

1. AP ICET Web Counselling: Instructions Regarding Payment of Processing Fees

• First step is to pay the AP ICET counselling fee of INR 1200 (for OC/BC) and INR 600 (for SC/ST/PH)
• To pay the AP ICET counselling fee, candidates must enter the login credentials:
  • Hall Ticket Number
  • Rank
• Select the mode of payment from any of the following:
  • Credit card
  • Debit card
  • Net banking
• After paying the processing fee candidates must ensure to take the print of the receipt for future reference.

2. AP ICET Web Counselling: Instructions Regarding Online Certificate Verification

• Verification of Certificates of all candidates except candidates of Special Category will be done online.

3. Web Options Selection

• After completing the certificate verification step, candidates will have to visit the web-option selection page to exercise web option entry
• Candidates will be able to select the following:
  • District
  • College type to display the colleges
• Candidates will be able to see all the selected colleges on the right side of the list and the total count. Candidates must click on the tab 'save the web options'

Steps to Exercise Web Options 

Step 1- After completion of certificate verification candidates must visit the web-option selection page.

Step 2- Enter the credentials: 

• APICET counselling hall ticket number 
• Date of birth 

Step 3- Candidates will be entering the following details now: 

• District 
• Institution/college type 

Step 4- Now the screen will display Government colleges, self-financed colleges, private colleges with different colours codes. 

Step 5- Candidates will be able to see the list of selected colleges on the right side of the screen and total opted counts

SYLLABUS CONTENT OF THE TEST: Section-A: Analytical Ability:

1. Data Sufficiency: A question is given followed by data in the form of two statements labeled as (i) and (ii). If the data given in (i) alone is sufficient to answer the question then choice (1) is the correct answer. If the data given in (ii) alone is sufficient to answer the question then choice (2) is the correct answer. If both (i) and (ii) put together are sufficient to answer the question but neither statement alone is sufficient, then choice (3) is the correct answer. If both (i) and (ii) put together are not sufficient to answer the question and additional data is needed, then choice (4) is the correct answer.

2. Problem Solving

 a) Sequences and Series: Analogies of numbers and alphabet, completion of blank spaces following the pattern in a:b::c:d relationship; odd thing out: missing number in a sequence or a series.

b) Data Analysis: The data given in a Table, Graph, Bar diagram, Pie Chart, Venn Diagram or a Passage is to be analyzed and the questions pertaining to the data are to be answered.

c) Coding and Decoding Problems: A code pattern of English Alphabet is given. A given word or a group of letters are to be coded or decoded based on the given code or codes.

d) Date, Time & Arrangement Problems: Calendar problems, clock problems, blood relationships, arrivals, departures and schedules, seating arrangements, symbol and notation interpretation.

Section-B: Communication Ability:

Objectives of the Test: Candidates will be assessed on the ability to:

1. Identify vocabulary used in the day-to-day communication (Vocabulary).

2. Understand the functional use of grammar in day-to-day communication as well as in the business contexts (Functional Grammar).

3. Identify the basic terminology and concepts in computer and business contexts (letters, reports, memoranda, agenda, minutes etc. (Business and Computer terminology).

4. Understand written text and drawing inferences (Reading Comprehension (4 Passages)).

 Section -C: Mathematical Ability

1. Arithmetical Ability: Laws of indices, ratio and proportion; surds; numbers and divisibility, l.c.m. and g.c.d; Rational numbers, Ordering; Percentages; Profit and loss; Partnership, Pipes and cisterns, time, distance and work problems, areas and volumes, mensuration, modular arithmetic.
2. Algebraical and Geometrical Ability: Statements, Truth tables, implication converse and inverse, Tautologies-Sets, Relations and functions, applications - Equation of a line in different forms. Trigonometry - Trigonometric ratios, Trigonometric ratios of standard angles, (0°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 90°, 180°): Trigonometric identities: sample problems on heights and distances, Polynomials; Remainder theorem and consequences; Linear equations and expressions; Progressions, Binomial Theorem, Matrices, Notion of a limit and derivative; Plane geometry - lines, Triangles, Quadrilaterals, Circles, Coordinate geometry-distance between points

The questions of this section will test candidates' ability to collect and analyse information, problem-solving ability and decision-making ability. Among all the topics included under Analytical Ability, questions from the Data Sufficiency section may appear slightly tricky.  All questions of the Data Sufficiency section will consist of two statements that will be labelled as (i) and (ii).
