SSC CGL 2024 Notification is scheduled to be released on 11th June 2024 as per the SSC Exam Calendar 2024. SSC CGL Eligibility 2024: Nationality/Citizenship
A candidate must be either:
· a citizen of India, or
· a subject of Nepal, Bhutan, or
· a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
· a person of Indian origin migrated from either/or Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Note: The official notification reads, "A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after the eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India."
SSC CGL Age Limit
The Commission mention different age limit for different posts. Based on the age limits defined in the official notification for the SSC CGL posts, the candidates can see below the four groups of SSC CGL age limit. Given in the table below are post- and pay-level-wise age criteria (as of January 1, 2023) that candidates need to meet in order to be eligible for the exam. The Commission prescribes four types of age limits for the SSC CGL Posts. These four types are as follows:

Application Process
1. The SSC CGL exam application process is completely online. Candidates can apply for the exam by visiting the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) at ssc.nic.in.
2. To apply for the SSC CGL exam, candidates must first register themselves on the SSC website. Once registered, candidates can log in to their account and fill out the online application form. The application form will ask candidates to provide their personal details, educational qualifications, and other relevant information.
3. Candidates will also need to upload scanned copies of their passport-size photograph and signature while filling out the application form. Once the application form is complete, candidates will need to pay the application fee. The application fee can be paid online using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.
4. After the application fee is paid, candidates will need to submit the application form. Once the application form is submitted, candidates will receive a confirmation email. SSC CGL 2024 Notification: Application Fee
According to the SSC CGL Notification 2024, the required SSC CGL 2024 Application Fee is Rs 100 and there are No Fees to be paid by female, SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-servicemen candidates for the SSC CGL Exam 2024.
Exemption: No fee is required to be paid by female, SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen candidates.
• Applications fee should be paid only through SBI either in the form of challan or through SBI Net Banking or any other bank Credit/Debit Card. Challan form will be generated online.
• To pay a fee in cash, the candidate should take the printout of challan generated online after the completion of Part-1 registration. Deposit the requisite fee in any branch of SBI and then continue with the Part-2 registration.
• Those candidates who want to pay online can go directly to part-2 registration after completion of part-1 registration. Candidate must supply registration number and date of birth to continue to Part-2 registration

SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern
The SSC CGL Tier-1 exam is a common and compulsory exam for each of the posts. The Tier-1 exam is qualifying in nature and will be conducted for a total of 200 marks. Candidates will be required to answer 25 questions from each of the 4 sections of the exam pattern over a duration of 1 hour. Each question will carry 2 marks. Preparation
SSC CGL Tier-I is the first stage and the filtering stage of the exam. Most of the candidates are filtered out at this stage. The candidates scoring even one mark less than the SSC CGL cut off marks will not be selected for the next tier of the exam. SSC CGL Vacancy 2024
The Staff Selection Commission is expected to release a good number of vacancies in the official notification. The vacancies will impact the cutoff at every stage of the SSC CGL 2024 selection process.
The Staff Selection Commission increased the SSC CGL 2023 vacancies from 7,500 to 8,415. The Commission released the SSC CGL 2023 Final Vacancies list on November 17, 2023, mentioning the post-wise and category-wise vacancies in the final iteration. Earlier the Commission notified the 7,500 vacancies in the SSC CGL notification 2023. The candidates should note that the SSC CGL 2023 vacancy list will be released soon under the candidates' corner.
