About LSAT
LSAT is Law School Admission Test, which the applicants to law school take up. It is administered four times a year around the world at designated testing centres. Law School Admission Council (LASC) administers LSAT for aspiring law school candidates. LSAT India is a test of high-level reading, informal reasoning, and deductive reasoning skills. These acquired critical thinking skills are essential to succeed in law college and is essential for the practice of law. The LSAT India was developed specially for law colleges in India. The test is conducted to shortlist candidates for admission in undergraduate and postgraduate level law programmes in various law schools in India.

LSAT India 2024 Registration started

Law School Admission Council (LSAC) has published the LSAT India 2024 Notification. LSAT Entrance Exam is conducted twice every year in the month of January & May. LSAT India 2024 has started registration from 14 August, 2023 on the official website - www.lsatindia.in. The LSAT India 2024 Application from for both LSAT 2024 January & May sessions exams have been released. The LSAT India 2024 Exam for January Session will be conducted on 10 January, 2024 and for May Session will be conducted on 07 May, 2024 respectively. The LSAT India 2024 will be conducted in a Computer - Based Test. LSAT India 2024 exam is an online test conducted for admission in the 5-Year LLB Program, 3-year LLB & LLM Programmes offered by multiple law school in India. The LSAT Scores may be used to get admission into a law course at many other foreign national universities.

LSAT India Eligibility Criteria 2024

  • Those who are awaiting results of the final year qualifying examination are also eligible to appear for LSAT India

LLM

  • Candidates holding a degree in law i.e. LLB degree from a recognised university/ college
  • Those who are awaiting results of the final year qualifying examination are also eligible to appear for LSAT India

Analytical Reasoning

The section is based on the structure of relationships with logical conclusions, relationships based on things, persons or events, statements and conclusions, and some legal statements and relationships-based problems 

Logical Reasoning 1 & 2

The sections assess candidates' ability to analyse, critically evaluate, and complete arguments through logical reasoning questions based on passages (comprehension or legal). 

The type of questions will be of statement-conclusions, reasoning by analogy, determining how additional evidence affects an argument, applying principles or rules, and identifying argument flaws.

Reading Comprehension

The section carries questions to assess candidates' reading and interpretation skills based on four sets of reading questions, each consisting of a selection of reading material, followed by four to nine questions that test reading and reasoning abilities.

No consolidated LSAT India 2024 cutoff will be released by LSAC Global. However, all the LSAT India associated law colleges will release their specific cutoffs for candidates seeking admission in their law schools basis LSAT India result. The LSAT India cutoff released by specific law schools will be the last rank at which a candidate will be given admission.

The LSAT India cutoff would vary from one course to another and one college to another depending on various factors such as:

LSAT Admit Card

Candidates can download the LSAT India Admit Card 2024 on the official website - www.lsatindia.in. The LSAT India 2024 Exam for January Session will be conducted on 20-21 January, 2024 and for May Session will be conducted on 16-19 May, 2024 respectively.
