VITEEE Preparation Tips

Consistency over Intensity

Candidates applying for VITEEE must keep in mind that to be able to solve the questions in less time and with confidence should be the aim. Candidates should not only know all the tactics and tricks but should also be able to use them quickly and confidently. Regular practice and tests will help you be ready for the exam.

Proper Analysis of the Exam

Before starting with VITEEE preparation, a proper analysis of the exam must be done by the candidates viz. its sections, important topics, weightage etc. Also, the type of questions and the pattern of the exam must be noticed. Every section must be taken into account and analyzed deeply. There are always some predicted questions that have been repeated over the years. These questions help fetch marks easily. Candidates must mark these questions and practice extensively.

Last Year Papers

One of the major parts of VITEEE Preparation is to solve as many VITEEE sample papers and last year's question papers as possible. One must first try to solve these questions section-wise. You can also record the time and do a mock test on your own.

Speed and Accuracy

These are two virtues that make it easier to crack VITEEE. A candidate must be quick as well as exact with their responses. Improve your analytical skills and try to cover as many questions as possible. Speed and perfect accuracy help you find an edge over the others. Even while solving the VITEEE sample papers, work upon your speed. Candidates must aim for a perfect strike rate.

Keep yourself updated with the Exam Pattern

Candidates must check the official website of VITEEE i.e.www.vit.ac.in regularly for notifications and changes in the exam. VIT University has also introduced English as a section with 5 questions. There is no negative marking in VITEEE. Hence, attempt as many questions as possible without worrying about the marks.

Stick to VITEEE 2021 Syllabus

While preparing, candidates must stick to syllabus. By and large, it consists of the syllabus of class 11th and 12th. Candidates must divide the whole syllabus into feasible sections and make sure each section is not overflowing. All the sections must be focused and planned weekly on a daily basis. Candidates must not waste time on the topics which are not covered by the VITEEE syllabus and stick to the core.

Plan your Study

A daily plan of scheduled studying hours must be made to know how much to cover daily. Studying in an ordered manner will reap you better results. A proper study plan also helps in better organization of study hours and preparation process.

Manage Time Well

The most important factor in the preparation process of VITEEE is time management. Smart time management is important as it fetches you a better output. Candidates must not go for multi-tasking. Short breaks should be taken at regular intervals to relieve stress.

Revise in Interesting Ways

Revision for any exam is a must. Otherwise, your preparation remains incomplete. Candidates must not make the revision process very tiring. Use flashcards and notes made earlier in the revision process. These flashcards must be used only in the last days of the revision process when not much time is remaining for VITEEE 2024. Remember the important formulae in the VITEEE previous year papers.

Focus on the Weaker Sections

The weaker sections must be focused in a measured way. When preparing, a specific time must be given to them. Do not get stuck on them but try to improve gradually. Till the exam, prepare every section with equal time and effort and aim to excel in each.
