The Bachelor of Science (Agricultural Statistics) is an Undergraduate Degree Course of 4 Years (08 Semester) Duration. The General Educational Eligibility for entering this course is Higher Secondary (10+2) from any Recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/Biology as Compulsory Subjects. This Course is about the Integration of Agricultural Data such as estimation of Area under a Particular Crop, Estimated Crop Production taking Weather & Climate into consideration, Impact on the Agricultural Production on the Livelihood of People, Analysis of Past Data for Policy Making to achieve Food Security. This course offers the knowledge of Basic Statistical Methods in Agriculture, Population Demography, Statistical Analysis Concepts, and Data Collection & Computation etc. The other contents that are offered during the course include Organization of Agriculture & Livelihood Census, Agricultural Surveys Experiments, Probability Theory for Estimation etc. with variability of the Institution offering the Course.
