The General Educational Eligibility for entering this course is Higher Secondary (10+2) from any Recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as Compulsory Subjects. This Course study is about the Principles, Practices, Designing, Operation & Maintence of Equipments involved in Food Processing, Food Preservation, Food Storage and Food Packaging. This course offers the knowledge of various Crop Production Technology, Food Chemistry, Food Microbiology, Food Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Food Processing of Liquids & Solids, Industrial Microbiology, Macro & Micro Nutrients, Food Biochemistry & Nutrition, Instrumentation & Process Control etc. The other contents that are offered during the course include the Design & Analysis of Different Food Processing Equipments, Food Biotechnology, Food Refrigeration, Instrumental Techniques of Food Analysis, Food Storage Engineering etc. with variability of the Institution offering the Course.
