The Bachelor of Engineering (Food Processing & Preservation Technology) is an Undergraduate Degree Course of 4 Years (08 Semester) Duration. The General Educational Eligibility for entering this course is Higher Secondary (10+2) from any Recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as Compulsory Subjects. This Course study is about the Designing & Development of Projects / Equipments / Techniques / Procedures associated with the Food Processing & their Preservation. This course offers the knowledge about Food Science, Food Processing, Food Preservation, Food Microbiology, Food Process Engineering etc. The Course usually comprised of learning about the Chemistry of Food, Biochemistry, Economics Engineering, Modeling & Simulation of Food Processes, Protein Technology and Quality Control. The other contents that are offered during the course study include the Microbial Technology, Food Packaging Technology, Waste Management of Food Industry, Process Instrumentation, Project Engineering etc. with variability of the Institution offering the Course.
