The General Educational Eligibility for entering this course is Higher Secondary (10+2) from any Recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as Compulsory Subjects. This Course study is about the Engineering Principles, Procedures & Techniques involved in Design, Construction, Repair & Conversion of Ships and Other Floating Sea Vessels. The Course usually comprised of learning about the Fluid Mechanics, Basic Ship Theory, Electrical Technology, Stability of Ships, Mechanics of Solids, Machine Drawing, Propulsion of Ships, Ship Dynamics, Material Science and Structure Analysis. The other contents that are offered during the course study include Structural Designing of Ships, Marine Engineering, Hydraulic Machinery, Ship Production Technology, Ship Repairing, Instrumentation & Process Control, etc. with variability of the Institution offering the Course.
