M.ArchMaster of Architecture
The Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) is a two years professional degree program in architecture. This program equips potential architects with the training and important skills required before receiving an architectural license. Architecture is a kind of social art or design area that connects human beings on all levels on every frontier of social, emotional and physical reality. Architects are usually tasked with designing physical structures for clients. The range of these structures can range anywhere from miniscule house dwellings to large skyscrapers at corporate headquarters and anything in between. For example parks, recreational areas, public utility areas, theme parks, all come under the realm of architecture. Architects need to be professional as well as artistic to maintain client expectations at all times. The 2 years course deals with further specialization where students can become honed in a couple of areas they are interested in and create a niche for themselves. Some of the specialization include Urban Design, Housing, Regional, Town and Country Planning, Transport planning and Landscape Architecture.
