The Bachelor of Technology (Water Resource Engineering) is an Undergraduate Degree Course of 4 Years (08 Semester) Duration. The General Educational Eligibility for entering this course is Higher Secondary (10+2) from any Recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as Compulsory Subjects. This Course study is about the Application of Engineering Principles, Procedures & Techniques for the Design & Development of Equipments / Systems implemented for Water Management in coordination with the Human Needs. The Course usually comprised of learning about the Advanced Fluid Mechanics, Free Surface Flow, Advanced Hydrology, Water Resource Planning, Irrigation & Drainage Design, Ground Water Engineering, Fluvial Hydraulics and Hydraulic Structure Design. The other contents that are offered during the course study include Hydro Power Engineering, Embankment Dams, Flood Control Techniques, River Planning, Watershed Management, Bridge Engineering, Foundation Engineering, Engineering Geology, etc. with variability of the Institution offering the Course.
