The Master of Technology (Applied Botany) is a Post Graduate Degree Course of 2 Years (04 Semester) Duration. The General Educational Eligibility for entering this course is Bachelor Degree in the relevant Branch of Engineering / Technology. The Tenure of the Course comprises of Course Work (Theoretical) for 03 Semesters & the Research Activity thereafter. During the Course work, the Advanced Technical Study about the Principles, Procedures & Practices, applied for Designing & Development of Technological Processes, Equipments & Methods, associated with the Production of Plants & their Vegetation, for Commercial use, is offered. The Research Activity includes the Advancements in Plant Morphology & Taxonomy, Plant Physiology, Plant Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Plant Biotechnology, Genetic Engineering Techniques, Plant Diversity, Plant Reproductive Techniques, Microbial Technology, Computational Biology, Plant Breeding, Biophysical Instrumentation, Plant Conservation, Plant Pathology, Environmental Botany, Seed Technology, Medicinal Crop Plantation, etc. with variability of the Institution offering the Course.
