The Bachelor of Science (Applied Chemistry) is an Undergraduate Degree Course of 3 Years (06 Semester) Duration. The General Educational Eligibility for entering this course is Higher Secondary (10+2) from any Recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics / Biology as Compulsory Subjects. This Course study is about the Scientific Principles, Procedures & Techniques, involved in the Applications of Chemical Processes associated with the Compound’s Composition, Structure, Properties, Behavior & the changes occurred, when the Compound undergo reaction with other Compound. This course offers the knowledge of Wave Mechanics, Stereo-chemistry, Electrical / Electronic / Optical Behavior of Inorganic Materials, Reaction Mechanism, Thermodynamics, Surface Phenomenon, Biophysical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry and Medicinal Chemistry. The other contents that are offered during the course study include Polymer Chemistry, Crystal Chemistry, Nuclear Chemistry, Radioactivity, Organo-metallic Compounds, Quantum Chemistry, Photochemistry, Nanomaterials, etc. with variability of the Institution offering the Course.
