The Bachelor of Engineering (Dairy Technology) is an Undergraduate Degree Course of 4 Years (08 Semester) Duration. The General Educational Eligibility for entering this course is Higher Secondary (10+2) from any Recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry, English & Mathematics as Compulsory Subjects. This Course study is about the Engineering Principles, Procedures & Techniques involved in Designing & Development of Equipments for Production, Processing, Preservation, Packaging and Storage of Dairy Products. The Course usually comprised of learning about the Microbiology, Milk Chemistry, Fluid Mechanics, Heat & Mass Transfer, Thermodynamics, Biochemistry, Dairy Products, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Dairy Engineering, Food Technology, By-products Technology and Dairy Process Engineering. The other contents that are offered during the course study includes Packaging of Dairy Products, Chemical Quality Assurance, Dairy Biotechnology, Fermented Milk Products, Instrumentation & Process Control, Food Engineering, etc. with variability of the Institution offering the Course.
