The Doctor of Philosophy (Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry) is a Doctorate Degree Course. The General Educational Eligibility for entering this course is Master Degree in the relevant Branch of Sciences / Veterinary Sciences / Animal Husbandry. The Course is offered with a Minimum Duration of 3 Years (06 Semester). The Tenure of the Course comprises of Course Work (Theoretical) for 06/12 Months & the Research Activity thereafter. During the Course work, the Advanced Scientific Study about the Animal Breeding, Production & Caring of Farm Animals for the purpose of Marketing, Animal Genetics, General & Systematic Veterinary Pharmacology, Animal Diseases, Animal Biotechnology, Animal Reproduction and Feed Management of Livestock is offered. The Research Activity includes the Livestock Health & Hygiene, Veterinary Biochemistry, Animal Nutrition, Shelter Management of Livestock, Livestock & Poultry Breeding, Veterinary Gynecology etc. with variability of the Institution offering the Course.
