Situated in the city of Lucknow in the Indian STATE of Uttar Pradesh the Dr. Ramanohar Lohia University is an excellent centre of learning.The University was founded through the Government of Uttar Pradesh act of the year 2005. It is one of the largest law universities in India and what first comes to mind when one beholds the university campus is the STATE of the art infrastructure that prevails over here. The standard of education is extremely high and only the best students are known to be recruited into the university. Classes are held from ten in the morning till four in the afternoon with each lecture last for forty five minutes to one whole hour. Facilities: Hostel: There is a hostel where out of station students can stay. There are separate halls for the residence of boys and separate halls for the residence of girls at the University hostel these being separated by a large corridor. The rooms of the hostel are very well furnished and excellent home cooked food is provided to those who stay over here. Students do not have to worry about falling sick from eating outside food here. Library: The University has a high-tech library. It an impressive collection of books which comprises of: Books - 18628 Back Volume of Journals- 5909 Journals - 101 CD-ROMs - 202 Magazines - 16 Newspapers - 14 Computer lab: There is a large computer laboratory in the university which houses as many as sixty computers for the use of the students and the teachers. Sports: An indoor sports complex is what students can make use of for sporting activities on the university campus. There is also a football field as well as a well equipped fitness centre which students can use in order to keep themselves in good physical condition all through the year. Other facilities: The campus area of the university is one which is facilitated by excellent wireless internet access which seldom experiences any glitch in connectivity. There is a university hospital where students and teachers are attended when they fall ill or are in need of some kind of medical assistance. Several cultural events are known to be organized by the university from time to time at both the local and the national level. S
