Refrigeration Technicians are also known as Refrigeration Mechanics. they are involved in repairing, installing and troubleshooting the complex refrigeration systems. In addition, they also work on dwelling (industrial or residential) climate-control systems, e.g. HVAC units, beverage equipment and refrigerated units involved in storage. Also, they perform preventive maintenance of such systems. Maintenance includes Repair of faulty Refrigeration and AC equipment. They also verify refrigeration and AC spares for before purchasing and installing. Different parts/processes with which they are familiarized are the compressor, motors, condenser, drier, thermal insulation, window and split AC, refrigerator, electronics, sheet metal fitting etc. Apart from numerous job options in this industry, trainees can also start their own AC, refrigerator maintenance business.
