The BSc. in Hospitality Management is a three year program which prepares students with necessary skills and knowledge to supervise important tasks and take up important responsibilities in the Hospitality sector. This program consists of various theoretical subjects combined with related laboratory work for students to use their new found knowledge practically. Modules are varied and include subjects like Food and Beverage Management, Accountancy, Food production, Front Office Operations, General Management, Tourism Marketing, Food Safety & Quality, Human Resource Management, Accommodation Operations and Finance. This course is in line with industry standards and follows strict rules as far syllabus implementation and practical training is required. On and off industrial exposure/training keeps students on toes, helping them to adjust to the fast moving work environment in hotels and other service industries. On the other hand, students develop social personalities helping them to face any adversities with a smile. In addition, they are able to express knowledge and demonstrate professional guest services. They also get skilled at using computers and other data driven devices so that management challenges are met without issues in core areas like marketing, cost control, human resource management and others. Moreover, they become familiar with daily operational procedures of typical hotels, motels or restaurants.
