M.Tech. (Polymer Science)Master of Technology in Polymer Science

Polymer science is a subset of material science/engineering with polymer chemistry, polymer physics and polymer characterization being the main sub disciplines of this field of research. This science has allowed for various products in the markets like elastomers and plastics. The M.Tech program in Polymer Science and Technology is a unique course that builds over the basic material science course. The main purpose of this program is to impart knowledge train students to meet the constantly expanding requirements of the polymer and polymer based allied industries. Graduates of this specialized course often find themselves advancing their career and working in advanced government labs or pursuing M. Tech programs. Many graduates become educators, teaching as professors and lectures in colleges and universities.
