The General Educational Eligibility for entering this course is Bachelor Degree in the relevant Branch of Engineering/Technology. The Tenure of the Course comprises of Course Work (Theoretical) for 03 Semesters & the Research Activity thereafter. During the Course work, the Advanced Technical study about the Principles, Procedures & Practices about the Designing & Development of Equipments & Tools for the Manufacturing Processes involved in Ceramic Materials, Ceramic Raw Materials, Geology, Energy Resources & Furnaces, Thermodynamics, Kinetics of Solid State Reactions, Process Ceramics, Re-fractories, Glass Science & Technology, White-wares, Cement and Concrete is offered. The Research Activity includes the Advancements in Monolithic Re-fractories, Engineering Material Science, Metallurgy, Ceramic Coatings, Process Calculation, Nano Technology, Quality Management, Engineering System Modeling, Optical Ceramics, Bio Ceramics, etc. with variability of the Institution offering the Course.
