The General Educational Eligibility for entering this course is Bachelor Degree in the relevant Branch of Engineering / Technology. The Tenure of the Course comprises of Course Work (Theoretical) for 03 Semesters & the Research Activity thereafter. During the Course work, the Advanced Technical Study about the Principles, Procedures & Practices, applied for Designing & Development of Technological Processes, Equipments & Methods, associated with the Commercial Manufacturing of Desired Products from Living Cells or their Components, is offered. The Research Activity includes the Advancements in Bio-reaction Engineering, Bio-system Engineering, Bioreactor Design & Control, Chemical Engineering Kinetics, Bioprocess Computations in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Transport Phenomenon, Momentum & Mass Transfer, Bio-analytical Techniques, Genetics Engineering, Fermentation Technology, Biocatalysts, Enzyme Technology, Statistical & Quantative Techniques, Molecular Biotechnology, etc. with variability of the Institution offering the Course.
