The Bachelor of Science (Aqualogy) is an Undergraduate Degree Course of 4 Years (08 Semester) Duration. The General Educational Eligibility for entering this course is Higher Secondary (10+2) from any Recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry & Biology as Compulsory Subjects. This Course study is about the Scientific Principles, Procedures & Techniques, associated with the Biological Science concerned with Fresh Water Ecosystems (Wetlands, Rivers, Lakes and Ponds). This course offers the knowledge of Aquaculture Principles, Microbial Biochemistry, Microbial Genetics, Molecular Microbiology, Environmental Microbiology, Molecular Genetics, Fishery Science, Coastal Aquaculture, Physical Properties of Water and Aquatic Habitats. The other contents that are offered during the course study include Respiration in Aquatic Organisms, Osmotic Regulation & Nitrogen Excretion, Locomotion in Water, Feeding in Aquatic Organisms, Marine Microbiology, Microbial Physiology, Macromolecular Structures & Analysis, Inland Aquaculture, Ornamental Fisheries, Genetics & Biotechnology in Aquaculture, Organic Mechanisms, etc. with variability of the Institution offering the Course.
