Yashwantrao Chavan Institute of Social Sciences Studies and Research was established in the academic year 1986-87 by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune under the able and dynamic guidance of Dr. Patangrao Kadam. It is one of the constituent units of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, established with a view to conduct various academic programmes in Social Sciences, social work, research and business management. The institute offers the professional courses such as M.B.S., M.Phil.(Social Work) and Ph.D. in Social Work and Social Sciences.
