V J S College of Pharmacy

Rajahmundry, thousands of years? history behind, where Adikavi Nannayya wrote the greatest epic Mahabharata in Telugu from the banks of holy river Godavari, is now having another feather in its cap with the establishment of VJ?s College of Pharmacy, from the academic year 200708. The college is offering B.Pharmacy(100 seats) at UG level and M.Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical technology (15 seats), Pharmaceutical Analysis (15 seats) and Pharmacology (15 seats) at PG level with all necessary approvals from AICTE NewDelhi, PCI NewDelhi, AP State Government and the college is affiliated to Andhra University. The college is situated in a serene 2 acre lushgreen campus at Diwancheruvu, with a stateofthe art facilities. It is the only pharmacy college in Andhra established and run by experienced pharmacy professionals; with unique features like, multimedia lecture halls, automated digital library, highly ventilated & sophisticated laboratories with adequate equipment and furniture. To instill better education the campus has wifi facility with ultra modern computer lab. For allround development of the students, the college has facilities for indoor and out door games and a meditation hall along with a special emphasis on development of personality and communication skills. As the management strongly believes in the faculty is the back bone to the institute, highly qualified & dedicated faculty have been appointed, besides arranging special lectures with visiting faculty from abroad, academia, research and industry. The keen interest of the management in developing the institute on par with the global requirements is clearly evinced by the offcampus placements conducted at VJ's by various MNC's and the pass percentage acheived by the VJ'ites at university level from the inception.
