Tripura Medical College

Tripura Medical College runs M.B.B.S. course for 100 students and PG courses in Pharmacology, Pathology, General Medicine and Otorhinolaryngology for 5 students each year. As per letter of permission issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India with an full intake of 100 M.B.B.S. students, the 1st batch of MBBS students got admission during the academic session 2006-07 and since then so far 4(four) batches of MBBS students passed out .Three batches of MBBS students have completed their one (01) year Compulsory Rotatory Internship Training and at present Rotatory Internship Training is going on for one (01) batch of 2010 MBBS students. Most of the passed out students from this Institution, after completion of their compulsory rotator internship training, got placement as Junior Resident Doctors in TMC & Dr. BRAM Teaching Hospital or other Hospitals of the State andor outside the State. The Institution has introduced ?Foundation Course? as per MCI curriculum from the Academic session 2015.
