Tirukkoilurcollege of arts &science was establishd at tirukkoilur town, villupuram district in the year 1999 by tirukkoilur educational& charitable trust functioning at no .132, asanur road, sandapet, tirukkoilur-605 757.Aiming to provide higher education at the college level to the students hailing from tirukkoilur and its surrounding rural areas .the trust is being run by good hearted philanthropists of tirukkoilur who show a keen interst in higher education. It is indented to give education to young men &women with proper training and equipping with skills in curricular and co- curricular activities to face the challenges of life and to make them enlightended leaders in prominent fields. All facilities and amentiesrequied for progressive growth intellectual pursuits as well as for physical and mental development are provided to the students. Further it is informed that additional section for B.SC.., computer science and B.C.A degree courses were also granted in the year 2008-2009. The college is successfully stepping in to the 15th year. This is a co-Educational institution which was affiliated it the University of Madras till the year 2002-2003. From the year 2003-2004 it thas been affiliated to the newly formed thiruvalluvar university, Vellore. The college was started with job oriented courses in science. Arts &management courses which fetch self confidence in the young minds stepping in to the world of competition and demand.
