The Graduate School College For Women was established With an objective to provide educational facilities to the women students of Jamshedpur. The mission of the institution was empower girls belonging to middle class families. The institution aims at offering a diversified field of knowledge to girl students in order to enable them to acquire a mentally, physically and spiritually balanced, wholesome personality. Accordingly, the college started graduation level course in Arts & commerce followed by branches of Science faculty. This institution happens to be the first Women?s Colege to offer Commerce at the graduation level in the whole of undivided Bihar since 1971. The College, a constituent unit of the Kolhan University, Throughn the college offers diversity in curriculam there is no flexibility in selection of subjects.
