Establishment of the college in 1998 has ushered a new era in the history of Poladpur tehsil a remote and hilly area of Raigad district where students are deprived of higher education as no institution imparting higher education was available in the area even after the fifty years of India?s independence particular, for Girl students, higher education was a distant dream. In most of the households of the tehsil, we find first learning generation.
