St Mary Stella College of Education

St. Mary Stella College of Education, West Godavari was established in 2003 by Late Galla Satyanand David Raju Garu. The teacher education institute is affiliated to Andhra University and is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). With an aim to produce competent teachers to at secondary and higher secondary level, the college is associated with qualified lecturers, who train the young aspirants to attain their goal. The college is also equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure in its campus. In 1983 Teacher Training Institute was started by him at Palakollu, and gave Teacher Training for 1983-84 and 1984-85 Batches. The Govt. of A.P. conducted an entrance test for the alone batch trainees and passed candidates were allowed to take short course of Teacher Training in D.I.E.T.S. The passed candidate are now working as teachers in different places of the state. The correspondent of this college is Sri G.Rajmannar David Raj garu and also the President of the Association. The Principal of this college is Sri J. Subba Rao garu, M.A., M.A.,M.Ed.
