ith the vision of imparting quality education to th e students of the rural area and making them self reliant, this insti tution has been established in 1983 at the august hands of Her Excellency Smt. Pra tibhatai Patil and Dr. Devisinghji Shekhawat, the founders of the prem iere Education Society of Central India the ?Vidya Bharati Education Society, Amravati?. Started from a scratch the college has been now developed into an institute of ?Continuing Education? viz. from degree to Ph.D. Initially the college was imparting education in science but has with time added new degree cours es like B.A., B.Com., PG courses like M.Sc. (Zoology) and M.Com also facilit y of research in Zoology, Botany and Chemistry. Recently to cater with the gr owing demands of students the college has introduced M.Sc. (Computer Science) , M.A. (Political Science).
