Sri Sri Jagannath (SSJ) Mahavidyala, Rajnagar was established in 1981 with a view to enlighten the mass eternally engulfed in ignorance due to locational difficulties of this remote block, far away from Cuttack, the then district head quarter. The institution of more than one thousand students taking education at higher secondary level in the Arts, Science, Commerce and undergraduate level in Arts with 25 faculty and 25 ministerial & menial staff members.
