Sri Sarada College of Education

About Sri Sarada College of Education is run by Sri Sarada College Educational Trust, Salem and managed by the Yatiswaris of Sri Sarada Samithi, Salem. The President of Sri Ramakrishna Thopavanam, Thirupparaithurai Swami Sadananda is the President and Yatiswari Vinayakapriya is the Secretary of the College. Sri Sarada College of Education, Salem was started in 1968-1969 affiliated to University of Madras. Autonomy was granted from 1988-89. Since 2008, the college is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai. The college has been recognized by the NCTE. The college was reaccredited (III Cycle) with 'A' Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation council in 2014. The College offers courses leading B.Ed, M.Ed, M.Phil, and Ph.D.
