Smt KSN Kansagara Mahila College

Smt. KSN Kansagara Mahila College is an academic institution dedicated to education and service having committed and devoted academic fraternity. In its 39th year now, it dawns a new era in the field of education. Ours is one of the outstanding institutions of Gujarat, affiliated to Saurashtra University, Rajkot. The idea of establishing an educational institution for women was laid down by the Founder Trustee Lt. Shri Valjibhai Patel and it was established by Lt. Shri Vallabhbhai Patel, Former Minister, 61 of Gujarat, in the year 1974. In 1974 the institution had started with 200 numbers of students. Today after fruitful journey of 39 years, we have around 3000 students. We had begun with Arts and Commerce faculties and have now expanded ourselves to Business Administration, Computer Application and Social Work streams. We also have a recognized PG centre for Psychology, Hindi, Social Work and Commerce. We aim at holistic education. While assuring healthy academic environment, we also promote a scientific and research-oriented attitude. Being an academic institution, we are also aware of our role and duty towards society. The institution does share social and citizen responsibilities through various activities bringing about community orientation.
