Smt. J.J. Kundalia Commerce College, Rajkot was established in 1969 by Mahatma Gandhi Charitable Trust with a sole intent to serve society through culture, education and human service. The trust is of the founding father of Mahatma Gandhi Charitable Trust, Rajkot, was a symbol of social service through education and youth development. It is establish with a very highly equipped and ultramodern engineering complex "Labhubhai Trivedi Institute of Engineering & Technology" at Rajkot, to pay befitting tributes to late Shri Labhubhai Trivedi, a lifelong servant of society embodiment education and ex-pro-vice chancellor of Saurashtra University.
