Silicobyte KDC College is situated at Adharkap in Katni. This College is recognized by NCTE, New Delhi Higher Education Deptt., M.P. Govt. and Permanent Affiliated by Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur. College is recognized by UGC under 2f & 12b. Registered with the District Employment Office Katni under (NES) since 1996. Silicobyte KDC is recognized as minority education institute by National Commission for Minority Educational Institution, Govt. of India New Delhi. The college has well equipped Psychology Resource Center, Language Lab, Art & Craft Resource Center, Health & Physical Education Resource Center, Gymnasium, Educational Technology Laboratory, Computer Laboratory, Science & Mathematics Resource Center and enriched Library with reading room, spacious and ventilated classrooms and to access the information of internet. Teachers are well qualified and appointed under university norms. Institution has provided intellectual environment to prepare with curricular activities. Institute has always imparted quality education by following multi disciplinary approach to equip the teachers for the future challenges. College aims to impart training to the prospective teachers, to equip them to deliver quality education. The institution implements curriculum developed by the Rani Durgavati University by providing specified compulsory and optional subjects along with learning experiences through teaching, Assignment Models of Effective Learning Experience, practical and co-curricular activities. In addition to these of assignments and field work in the form of surveys emphasis is laid to inculcate social responsibility, moral, cultural and aesthetic values through various co- curricular activities, socially useful productive work and working for the community leads to all round development of the personality of the teacher trainees. Various activities are done to create multi-dimensional academic development of student teacher like Science Exhibition, Swami Vivekanand Career Guidance, Seminar, Sports, Cultural Events, Exam-Clo and Student Appreciation Show. The Institution also organizes Co?Curricular activity, Poem Creation, Essay Writing, Model Chart Making, Rangoli. Teaching and learning process is enhanced by the use of various interactive and participatory approach in transaction of theory by applying innovative practices like, power point presentation, ICT blended teaching, group discussion, field experiences, class work. The instructional approaches and learning experiences provided are comprehensive and in keeping with the objectives of the program. The college has wide range of feedback mechanisms from various stakeholders of our like parents, alumni & student in different ways .The students and the faculty keep pace with recent developments in their disciplines by participating in seminars, workshops, symposiums, orientation, Internet browsing and interactions with experts, using research journals and latest reference books. A Placement Cell is established to provide information and guidance to the student about opportunities of jobs in education institution / industries / organizations / corporate houses / private / public sector and to build capability for self employment. Many of the students of our college have made a place in a number of govt. & private institutions. Internal assessment is done for assignments, work experience, working with community and test exams, co-curricular activities, regularity in a number participation in competitions, environmental campaigns and field visits. Governance of the Institution is well managed, transparent, decentralized, participatory, and democratic. Apart from these, outreach activities, cultural programs, NSS activities, sports activities, environmental campaigns and field visits are carried out for inculcating moral values and life skills among students.
