Shri Sheth Murlidharji Mansingka College of Arts, Science & Commerce is affiliated to North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. It is granted by University Grant Commission (UGC) & Accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). SSMM College was established in 1970 by the Pachora Taluka Co-operative Education Society. SSMM has emerged as one of the premier college of Arts, Science & Commerce in North Maharashtra. SSMM College has 40 years of history as the flagship of higher education in Khandesh. The College offers a three tier package, beginning with the Junior college that caters to students passing out from school. Comprehensive courses are offered in all Arts, Commerce and Science streams, preparing students to launch out into professional courses or else continue on towards graduate studies in the Senior College. At the Senior college, students can work towards a Bachelor?s of Arts degree in a range of subjects spanning Languages, Social Sciences, History; Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or Finance & Banking. Or Bachelor of Science degree in any one of the traditional Natural Sciences likes Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology & Others. Post-Graduate degree courses are also offered in the Arts stream. Some Arts subjects offer facilities for Doctoral Research as well. A sprawling 13 acre campus, in the heart of the city, provides space for residential facilities, sports, games and cultural facilities, which contribute to the well rounded development of a more than 3500 strong student population.
