Shree Jayendrapuri Arts & Science College was established in the year 1955 by the S?ad Vidya Mandal on the bank of holy river Narmada . The need for higher educational institution was felt by Revered Swami Atulanandji Maharaj as no initiative was taken to start a college in the peanut city of Bharuch. Atulanandji Maharaj announced his intention to start the much needed college in Bharuch and subsequently the S?ad Vidya Mandal established Shree Jayendrapuri Arts & Science College beginning with Arts faculty in 1955 and Science faculty in 1958.
